I’ve taken iodide products for years due to low thyroid. I’m not against medication, but if my low thyroid was due to low iodine, why not try to supplement iodine instead of taking meds? It worked for me! My doctor was concerned due to the supposed high dose. I did my research and felt it was worth taking as long as my blood levels were within normal range….maybe even lower the dose after a period of time. My T3 and T4 were within normal range within the first month and has remained so for the last four years. Began taking this particular product this year, and actually feel even better than when I took Idoral. Better mood and more consistent energy. Only issue is if you’re just starting out, this dose could make you feel strange, especially if you’re very deficient. I started with half of a 12.5 pill and worked my way up. There’s an audiobook on audible I’d highly recommend as well. I highly recommend people take potassium iodide since most people are deficient. For me, the added L-tyrosine really showed a noticeable difference in how I feel. (Posted on 8/14/2022)Quality - great product that really does help my thyroid.
